The Australian Tourism Exchange
The Australian Tourism Exchange (ATE) is Australia's largest annual travel and tourism trade event. It serves as a platform for connecting Australian tourism businesses with international travel buyers and media representatives. ATE is organized by Tourism Australia, the government agency responsible for promoting Australia as a travel destination.

ATEC’s Meeting Place
ATEC's Meeting Place is an annual event organized by the Australian Tourism Export Council (ATEC). ATEC is Australia's national industry body representing the export tourism sector. Meeting Place is a premier event that brings together tourism operators, Australian tourism businesses, and international travel buyers in a B2B (business-to-business) format. Here are the benefits of attending.
Key Dates: Three day program in November each year, destinations vary across the country.

Ultimate Wineries Australia
Ultimate Winery Experiences Australia is a group of premium, award-winning wineries offering unique wine experiences including barrel, private and structured tastings, food-wine matching, wine education and gastronomy in spectacular locations within renowned wine regions. This is a member based initiative. D'Arenberg, Hardy’s Tintara and Gemtree Wines are all part of the Ultimate Wineries program.

Great Wine Capitals
In July 2016 Adelaide, South Australia joined the prestigious group of Great Wine Capitals – an internationally renowned network which will strengthen our global reputation as a world leading wine producer. The global network includes the 11 internationally renowned wine regions of San Francisco – Napa Valley (US), Bordeaux (France), Cape Town – Cape Winelands (South Africa), Bilbao/Rioja (Spain), Lausanne (Switzerland), Mainz – Rheinhessen (Germany), Mendoza (Argentina), Hawke's Bay (New Zealnd), Porto (Portugal), Valparaìso – Casablanca Valley (Chile), and Verona (Italy). Adelaide, South Australia makes the twelfth.

Each year, Great Wine Capitals put on the Best of Wine Tourism Awards. These awards feature 7 categories and celebrate innovation and excellence in wine tourism across all 12 great wine capitals.
Applications for the awards open in September each year for award in October.
The winners from each state are then considered on a global level, for award in November.

South Australian Tourism Awards
Presented by TICSA, the South Australian Tourism Awards celebrate and acknowledge tourism businesses that have demonstrated outstanding achievements and success throughout the year. Winners receive a trophy, branded logos for marketing use, feature across several website platforms and more. The awards are open for entry each year in October and announced in November.
