We currently have a position available for a casual cellar door & bar staff member across two venues. Doc Adams wines located at Lonsdale operates Fridays 12–7pm and Saturdays 12–5pm. Sourc'd Wine Collective & Bar at Aldinga Beach Operates Fridays & Saturdays 12–9pm, and Sundays from 12–7pm.

Both venues offer a casual and fun filled atmosphere, with Doc Adams operating a tasting shed out of our Lonsdale warehouse, and with live music playing at Sourc'd on Saturday nights. Both venues conduct wine tastings and sales for consumption on premises, and takeaway by the bottle. Sourc'd also offers cocktails and local beers on tap. Both venues may require some food preparation, with occasional events.

We are looking for passionate people with wine knowledge and a customer focussed attitude for work at either or both venues. RSA (Responsible service of alcohol) is essential, with Responsible Person badge preferred.

Cellar Door Casuals

Bec Hardy Wines (BHW) is a fast growing, family-owned wine business based in McLaren Vale, South Australia. The company was recently named Regional Export Company of the Year, our second major business award in fifteen months.

As visitation to our Pertaringa cellar door grows, the BHW team is looking for Cellar Door Casuals to help promote our award-winning ranges of Bec Hardy and Pertaringa wines. We’re looking for someone who wants to be part of a fun team that continues to achieve great things! Sound like you?

Based at the company’s Pertaringa cellar door in McLaren Vale, this role will offer casual shifts on 1 to 2 days per week (mainly weekends and Public Holidays).

Skills and experience:

About Us
Serafino Wines, McLaren Vale is a prestigious winery owned and operated by the Maglieri family. Crushing approx 2000T of white and red varieties from our own estate vineyards, growers and custom crush clients.

We are seeking casual cellar hands, with a view to permanency, at our McLaren Vale winery for Vintage 2023.

Job Requirements
You will be involved in various cellar activities, from fruit intake and fermentation through to pressing and racking to barrels.
During the vintage period (Mid-January to April) you must have flexibility with shifts which will include extended hours and weekend work. Cellar experience is preferred, but not essential.


We are seeking enthusiastic & motivated cellar hands with the following attributes:

Our home

Firehawk Farm is home to Dandelion Vineyards in McLaren Vale. Our 60-acre property is perched atop an ancient ridge overlooking McLaren Vale, the Willunga Escarpment and the Gulf of St Vincent. Firehawk is our native bird of prey that soars over our vineyards acting as scarecrows to other birds, rabbits and the like that eat ripening grapes. Below the surface there's limestone, ironstone and the 40 acres under vine include, Grenache, Shiraz and Petite Sirah. At this special place we will be opening our Wonder Room to host and share our whimsical stories and wines.

The role

We are seeking a dynamic and passionate person to conduct our new Wonder Room team at Firehawk Farm and create a unique immersive experience in McLaren Vale, South Australia. If chosen, you will be responsible for the day to day running of this venue, all back of house operations and reporting. You will lead and manage the team to ensure we provide a unique, luxury wine and food experience for all our customers. This is a hands-on role that will draw on advanced communication and interpersonal management to continue to build and grow our Pride of Dandy Lions. This role requires someone who is entrepreneurial and energised by being part of a thriving setting within the McLaren Vale wine region.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to expand your knowledge of wines, wine regions and winemaking processes. This knowledge will help you conduct informative wine tastings for our guests, whilst building on your passion for wine.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver outstanding customer experience to all guests

About You

  • Knowledge of wine and a passion for the wine industry with WSET 2, highly regarded.
  • Strong leadership skills required to motivate, communicate, coach and manage staff.
  • An engaging personality and warmth that customers and staff gravitate towards.
  • Strong administration skills and ability to be 'hands-on' and solve problems with ease.
  • Proficient with operating systems i.e POS, booking reservation platforms, e-commerce, and Microsoft Office applications.

We are looking for a friendly, organised and highly detail-oriented person to join our Finance & Administration team.
Someone who is willing to get stuck in to the task at hand, and grow with us in our next chapter.

Responsibilities:

  • Handling day-to-day accounting duties including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable (Payroll excluded)

Qualifications:

  • Xero software knowledge is ideal
