Harry’s Deli at Wirra Wirra is in a growth phase with our brand-new state of the art kitchen and expanded dining spaces, we need an additional all-rounder to help keep our customers happy and caffeinated.

We have a Casual position available for an enthusiastic, experienced Food and Beverage Attendant who likes working in a friendly, fast paced environment. We are open for lunch every day of the year except Good Friday and Christmas Day and for breakfast on weekends and public holidays.

You will enjoy the benefits of being part of the Wirra Wirra winery team and the culture that makes this a special and popular place to work.

A minimum of 15-20 hours work a week is expected, with opportunities to expand that over time.

Mollydooker Wines, McLaren Vale, South Australia is looking for someone with a positive attitude to join us as Casual Laboratory Technician/Cellar Hand for Vintage 2022.

This role involves conducting daily juice and wine analysis as well as working hands on in the winery cellar.

Previous Laboratory experience is required, and previous Winery experience is preferred but not essential as training in all Mollydooker systems will be provided.

The position will commence approximately 14th February 2022 and will continue until vintage completion (estimated to be late April possibly early May).

The successful candidate must be available to work both days and nights on a 2 week rotating roster and be prepared to work weekends and public holidays as required.

McLaren Vale Grape, Wine & Tourism Association (MVGWTA) evolved from the McLaren Vale Winemakers Group that started in the region over 50 years ago. Since MVGWTA’s inception, the brand ‘McLaren Vale’ has achieved world recognition. MVGWTA is funded by the McLaren Vale Wine Industry Fund and is a membership-based organisation that is governed by a Board of Directors.

POSITION VACANT – Viticulturist/Vineyard Supervisor at Oliver’s Taranga Vineyards, McLaren Vale

Looking after 110Ha of super-premium vineyards in beautiful McLaren Vale, Oliver’s Taranga has much to offer the right candidate. Essential Requirements

  • Self-motivated to continue learning and to implement best practice premium viticulture.

  • Management of pruning, canopy manipulation & trellis maintenance.
  • Ability to supervise permanent and seasonal workforce.

Berg Herring Wines are looking for a casual cellar door staff member to join their team.

Cellar Door Sales – Richard Hamilton Wines, McLaren Vale

Leconfield and Richard Hamilton Wines, a long-established family-owned winery producing premium wines in McLaren Vale and Coonawarra, is seeking a well presented and enthusiastic person to join the small team at our picturesque McLaren Vale Cellar Door.  Our Tasting Room offers hosted Wine Flights, and we are renowned for our Regional Platters and service. The ideal candidate is personable, friendly, and customer service oriented.  A background in retail sales or hospitality is beneficial as well as a sound wine knowledge or passion for the wine industry.  The position is on a casual basis, specifically weekends, with occasional weekday shifts available. The role is multi-faceted with some administration duties likely to be requested as part of your role.

Reporting to the Cellar Door Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Greeting all guests promptly and provide knowledgeable, consistent, and courteous Hosted Wine Flights that educate guests on the Hamilton family history, our vineyards and wines, ultimately leading to an engaging visitor experience.
  • Capturing new member details by encourage Centurion Club membership to increase sales and build customer loyalty.
  • Perform all daily Cellar Door functions, processing transactions, stocking wine, packing orders and general housekeeping duties, kitchen duties and food preparation as needed.
  • Assist with additional Cellar Door events. 
  • Maintain cleanliness of the cellar door, kitchen, and bathroom areas, following all appropriate food handling and OH&S procedures.

Vineyard Operator (Irrigation) - Paxton Wines

Responsible for the operation and maintenance of irrigation systems as well as hands-on vineyard operations on Paxton owned and managed vineyards.

Paxton Wines is a progressive, forward-thinking family wine business with multiple vineyards in McLaren Vale.

Established in 1979 by David Paxton, one of Australia’s most experienced and respected viticulturists, today the business is a regional leader with some of the largest holdings – approximately 82 Hectares – of fully certified organic and biodynamic vineyards in McLaren Vale. Further vineyards are under full Paxton management in the region.

Reporting to the Vineyard Manager, this is a position suited to a practical, reliable, and active person. The successful applicant will work as part of a team to efficiently deliver irrigation requirements through best practice and well-maintained systems across multiple properties. 

Duties will include irrigation system operation, physical checks, repairs and upgrades as necessary.  Some weekend work may be required.
Outside of irrigation activities, general vineyard duties will be required including Harvest.

Current drivers license and Australian residency/ citizenship required.

Casual Cellar Door & Front of House Staff - Mitolo Wines

Wine Guide & Driver - Small Batch Wine Tours

Do you love learning and talking about wine, meeting happy people from around Australia and the world, and want to get to know the winemakers and growers across South Australia's wine regions?

Small Batch is a boutique wine tour business focussing on attracting real winelovers and guiding them through Adelaide's premier regions. We generally visit smaller, boutique wineries where possible, with a big emphasis on quality and storytelling. No two days are ever the same as we choose winery locations based on requests and where the guide thinks will suit the guests onboard. We're on the lookout for people willing to work as a driver-guide, usually from 9am-6pm up to four or five days a week. Position is casual to start but with the view to go full time for the right person.

You are:

  • Friendly and outgoing
  • Confident in driving a car, with a clean driving record
  • Love wine (preferably knowledgeable to a WSET2 or above grade)
  • Reliable - we can't afford to have people calling in sick at the last minute, it just doesn't work for this position
